Arden, North Carolina (February 13, 2019) — Mountain Home congratulated IBMA Entertainer of the Year Balsam Range for their success with Aeonic, the band’s ninth studio album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Chart in January.

The band received commemorative plaques for their Billboard debut as well as their #1 Bluegrass Radio single“The Girl Who Invented The Wheel,” a song that brings a clever twist to the traditional love ballad.

The album has remained in the top 4 of the Billboard Bluegrass Album chart for 5 weeks and has also been on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, Americana/Folk Chart and Current Country Chart. Since its January release, Aeonic has been featured by the Wall Street JournalRolling Stone Country and Billboard.com.
