I got my wish when I said I hoped he'd find his way back to bluegrass.
In a bluegrass setting, he excels.

This first-class bluegrass album is a compilation of 13 songs ranging from original tunes to a selection of Bill Monroe songs. The title cut, Marching Home, is a fast-paced instrumental written by Marc Pruett. Other originals include Calloway County Flood penned by Milan Miller - the co-writer for Burning Georgia Down and a crowd favorite, Blue Mountain. The project was a cooperative effort between Crossroads/Mountain Home and Evergreen of Nashville, owners of the rights to Bill Monroe songs, and produced by Jerry Salley.
There are many Bill Monroe standards with a Balsam Range twist such as Goodbye Ol’ Pal, Boat of Love and Traveling This Lonesome Road. There are guest appearances by Tony Rice, Doyle Lawson, Jim VanCleve, Joe Diffie and Jerry Salley. Balsam Range is very excited to share their work with you so keep checking back for details on a specific release date, how to obtain your copy and a CD Release Concert!
Marching Home is set to be nationally released by Crossroads/Mountain Home in October 2007.

Buddy's debut solo album contains a fourteen song package with a tasteful mix of uncut gems and classic bluegrass tunes.
Buddy's powerful tenor voice soars to unbelievable heights, and his tasty fiddle playing serves as the spice needed to complete the ensemble.
